"Alternately sweet, low-down and dirty, My Victoria thrashes out sounds from a diverse background of influences -- post-punk, new-wave, psychedelic surf -- that coalesce into pure rock and roll. The angular bass lines, two-note chords, and the occasional stunning drum solo create a cohesive, infectious mix that's putting My Victoria on the lips of the New York City's indie rockers. The magic starts behind the mic, where frontwoman Diana Past's raspy vocals switch from croon to scream, striking a chord of salvation in the chaos. "
That above is our original bio. This sounds like NYC circa 2004-2005 which is when made. by the following people
Ray D'Antuano - Played bass and recorded it
Diana Pastrana sang and wrote the lyrics she sang
John Weingarten - Played drums and other things on the record
Lawrence Scaduto - Played guitar and recorded it
Rachelle Rahme - was out first bassist and might have come up with a riff or 2 then ended up on this record.
We wrote and arranged most of this stuff together. I, Lawrence Scaduto (the guy writing this description 10 years later) remember that I did more of the writing and arranging brought in lots of riffs, nearly finished songs and did most of the arranging. Who know what the truth is. Memory is tricky that way.
We had 5 or 6 other songs ready to go when we broke up. Some of them were really interesting.
Trevor Bittinger was our manager, arranged photos shoots, directed a video for us and did some other stuff I am forgetting.
